West Virginia High School Basketball - Fort Frye nips John Marshall
February 13, 2025: Glen Dale, WV 26038 In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Fort Frye Cadets basketball team scored a close 44-42 win over the John Marshall Monarchs.
The Cadets (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Waterford (Waterford, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Waterford was tipped by Belpre (Belpre, OH), 56-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. John Marshall will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 76-48 league win over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV).
