January 18, 2025: Sistersville, WV 26175 The Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV) basketball edged the visiting John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 48-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Magnolia for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Tyler will play a Blue Eagles team coming off a 50-40 league loss to River (Hannibal, OH). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, John Marshall falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Bellaire (Bellaire, OH) to play the Big Reds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Big Reds go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Bellaire won 82-54 in their recent non-league bout against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH)
