The Tyler Knights basketball squad (Sistersville, WV), was nudged 55-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV)

With the victory, Oak Glen advances its record to 5-11 on the year. The Golden Bears travel to Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 14-3. Catholic Central won 74-34 in their recent non-league battle against Edison (Richmond, OH)

The Knights now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ritchie County for a Little Kanawha - West battle on Saturday, February 1. Tyler will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 7-6.
