February 13, 2025: Daleville, VA 24083 William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 68-51 in a league match.
With the victory, William Byrd upgrades its record to 11-11 on the year. The Terriers travel to Northside (Roanoke, VA) to face the Vikings in a Blue Ridge match on Tuesday, February 18. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 20-1.
The Cavaliers now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a Blue Ridge match on Monday, February 17. Lord Botetourt will face a Eagles squad coming off a 89-26 league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-16.
