February 13, 2025: Monroe, CT 06468 The Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) basketball edged the visiting Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 69-65 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Weston for a Southwest bout on Thursday, February 13. Masuk will play a Trojans team coming off a 53-51 league win over New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Shelton falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Gaels host Wolcott (Wolcott, CT) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Wolcott lost 58-53 in their recent league bout against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT)
