South Dakota High School Basketball - Spearfish triumphant over Custer
February 13, 2025: Spearfish, SD 57783 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) and the visiting Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), observed Spearfish's basketball team overwhelm Custer by a score of 67-31.
The Spartans (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Rapid City Christian trounced Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD), 67-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Custer will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Scoopers enter the battle with a 6-11 record after their 48-19 league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
