Maryland High School Basketball - Flowers overwhelms Laurel

February 13, 2025: Springdale, MD 20774

The Flowers Jaguars basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Laurel Spartans to 12 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now have a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eleanor Roosevelt for a Prince George's County 4A game on Friday, February 14. Flowers will confront a Raiders team coming off a 47-45 league win over Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Laurel falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bowie (Bowie, MD) to confront the Bulldogs in a Prince George's County 4A game on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 10-8. Bowie lost 49-32 in their recent league game against Parkdale (Riverdale, MD)
