In Friday's league contest, the host Monticello Magic basketball team scored a big 73-50 win over the St. Francis Fighting Saints.

The Magic (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Vikings come into the AAA Section 7 contest with a 2-15 record.
