West Virginia High School Basketball - Mount View knocks off River View

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mount View Golden Knights basketball team scored a good 49-39 win over the River View Raiders.

The Golden Knights (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders come into the West Virginia Christian contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Greater Beckley Christian defeated Webster County (Upper Glade, WV), 76-56, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Raiders face the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 17. River View will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Tide enter the match with a 13-1 record after their 49-25 non-league win over Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV).
