North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity succumbs to Wheatmore

February 13, 2026: Trinity, NC 27370

The Wheatmore Warriors defeated the visiting Trinity Bulldogs basketball team by a tally of 52-38 in Friday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they host East Davidson for a Central Carolina 3A bout on Monday, February 16. Wheatmore will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 53-46 league loss to West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Trinity falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to play the Patriots in a Central Carolina 3A bout on Monday, February 16. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 13-7. Providence Grove won 55-54 in their recent league test against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)
