The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) and the host St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS), observed Picayune's softball team get by St. Patrick by a tally of 11-5.

With the triumph, Picayune improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Maroon Tide host Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Monday, February 16. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Bay lost 11-8 in their recent non-league contest against Hancock (Kiln, MS)

The Fighting Irish now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Hope for a non-league contest on Monday, February 16. St. Patrick will face a Trojans squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
