South Dakota High School Basketball - Kimball/White Lake can't hold off Highmore/Harrold
February 14, 2022: Highmore, SD 57345 The Highmore/Harrold Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Kimball/White Lake Wildkats to 49 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a B Region 2 contest on Friday, February 18. Highmore/Harrold will battle a Battlers team coming off a 69-35 league win over Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 17-1.
The Wildkats (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Spartans come into the B Region 6 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Wessington Springs was nudged by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 50-49, in a non-league contest.
