Virginia High School Basketball - Bayside can't hold off Salem
February 14, 2022: Virginia Beach, VA 23455 The Salem Sundevils basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Bayside Marlins to 42 in the Sundevils league triumph on Monday.
The Sundevils now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cox for a Beach contest on Tuesday, February 15. Salem will battle a Falcons team coming off a 55-29 league loss to Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-16.
The Marlins (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Chiefs enter the Beach contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Kempsville was nudged by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 50-38, in a league contest.
