Ohio High School Basketball - Edison can't hold off Danbury
February 14, 2023: Milan, OH 44846 The Danbury Lakers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Edison Chargers to 67 in the Lakers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvert for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Friday, February 17. Danbury will battle a Senecas team coming off a 53-45 league win over St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Senecas record now stands at 17-4.
The Chargers (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Redskins come into the Sandusky Bay - Bay contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Port Clinton edged Genoa Area (Genoa, OH), 52-38, in a non-league contest.
