Michigan High School Basketball - Thurston nudges Edsel Ford
February 14, 2023: Redford, MI 48239 Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Thurston upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Eagles host Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a Western Wayne bout on Thursday, February 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Crestwood won 38-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI)
Next up, the Thunderbirds clash with the Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Thursday, February 16. Edsel Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 70-68 non-league loss to Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI).
