Michigan High School Basketball - Garden City topped by Edsel Ford
December 9, 2022: Dearborn, MI 48124 The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Garden City Cougars to 52 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Friday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlson for a Downriver contest on Tuesday, December 13. Edsel Ford will battle a Marauders team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 1-2.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Chargers come into the Western Wayne contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Crestwood dropped by Stevenson (Livonia, MI), 59-48, in a non-league contest.
