January 18, 2023: Trenton, MI 48183 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI), by a count of 74-51.
The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Carlson (Gibraltar, MI). The Marauders go into the Downriver outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Carlson smashed Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI), 58-50, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Robichaud for a Western Wayne outing on Friday, January 20. Garden City will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 74-53 non-league loss to Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
