Michigan High School Basketball - Edsel Ford nips Anderson
February 28, 2023: Dearborn, MI 48124 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) and the visiting Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), saw Edsel Ford's basketball squad hold off Anderson by a tally of 51-47.
With the victory, Edsel Ford improves its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a Downriver challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Lincoln Park won 61-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Melvindale (Melvindale, MI)
Next up, the Titans play the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Thursday, March 2. Anderson will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 44-37 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, MI).
