Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) and the visiting Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), saw Taylor's basketball squad hold off Anderson by a count of 41-39.

With the victory, Taylor upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 7-11.

Next up, the Titans play the Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Friday, February 24. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record.
