February 14, 2023: Fairfield, CT 06825 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) and the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), saw Notre Dame Catholic's basketball squad knock off Joel Barlow by a tally of 73-56.
With the victory, Notre Dame Catholic improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Weston (Weston, CT) to play the Trojans in a Southwest challenge on Friday, February 17. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Weston won 56-55 in their recent league challenge against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT)
Next up, the Falcons play the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Friday, February 17. Joel Barlow will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 52-40 league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT).
