Connecticut High School Basketball - Notre Dame Catholic thwarts Bunnell
February 6, 2023: Stratford, CT 06614 The Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) basketball knocked off the host Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), 77-57 in Monday's league test.
The Lancers (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Wildcats go into the Southwest test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Bethel went down by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 65-58, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Newtown for a Southwest test on Thursday, February 9. Bunnell will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 54-37 league win over Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 12-5.
