West Virginia High School Basketball - St. Marys nips Magnolia
February 14, 2023: New Martinsville, WV 26155 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) and the host Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), saw St. Marys's basketball squad hold off Magnolia by a tally of 57-55.
With the victory, St. Marys improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Doddridge County (West Union, WV) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Doddridge County won 60-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV)
Next up, the Blue Eagles play the Cameron Dragons (Cameron, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Magnolia will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 69-55 league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV).
