February 14, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19809 The Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) basketball knocked off the host Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), 59-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Caravel (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Caravel notched a victory over Sanford (Hockessin, DE), 61-41, in a non-league test.
The Green Knights now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Christiana for a non-league test on Friday, February 17. Mount Pleasant will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 73-59 league loss to Glasgow (Newark, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 5-11.
