The Wakefield Country Day Owls basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Mountain View Christian Academy Conquerors to 49 in the Owls non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Owls now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quantico for a VISAA Division III contest on Thursday, February 16. Wakefield Country Day will meet a Warriors team coming off a 59-22 league loss to Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-14.
The Conquerors (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick Warriors (Frederick, MD). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Frederick Warriors ran past Valley Baptist Christian (Edinburg, VA), 40-36, in a non-league contest.
