February 14, 2023: Johnston City, IL 62951 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Benton Rangers (Benton, IL) and the host Johnston City Indians (Johnston City, IL), saw Benton's basketball squad wallop Johnston City by a count of 63-41.
With the victory, Benton upgrades its record to 23-8 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 24-7. Harrisburg won 56-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Eldorado (Eldorado, IL)
