Michigan High School Basketball - Western overwhelms Hastings
February 14, 2023: Parma, MI 49269 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Western Panthers (Parma, MI) and the visiting Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI), saw Western's basketball squad wallop Hastings by a tally of 51-27.
With the victory, Western improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Marshall (Marshall, MI) to play the Redhawks in a Interstate 8 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Marshall won 30-23 in their recent league challenge against Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI)
Next up, the Saxons play the Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) in a Interstate 8 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Hastings will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Mounties come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 66-27 non-league win over Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI).
