Michigan High School Basketball - Jackson holds off Pinckney
February 14, 2023: Jackson, MI 49201 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jackson Vikings (Jackson, MI) and the visiting Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), saw Jackson's basketball squad hold off Pinckney by a tally of 40-35.
With the victory, Jackson improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Chelsea (Chelsea, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southeastern - White challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 19-1. Chelsea won 71-18 in their recent league challenge against Adrian (Adrian, MI)
Next up, the Pirates confront the South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 16. Pinckney will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 14-5 record after their 49-36 league win over Lakeland (White Lake, MI).
