February 14, 2023: Moran, KS 66755 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS) and the visiting Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks (Mound City, KS), saw Marmaton Valley's basketball squad hold off Jayhawk Linn by a tally of 43-37.
With the victory, Marmaton Valley improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chetopa (Chetopa, KS) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-16. Chetopa lost 52-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Yates Center (Yates Center, KS)
Next up, the Jayhawks confront the Altoona-Midway Jets (Buffalo, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Jayhawk Linn will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 38-19 non-league loss to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS).
