February 14, 2024: Guyton, GA 31312 The South Effingham Mustangs got by the visiting Screven County Gamecocks baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ringgold for a non-league bout on Friday, February 16.
Next, the Gamecocks face the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Screven County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA).
