New Jersey High School Basketball - Phillipsburg crushes North Hunterdon

Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ), 58-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Phillipsburg upgrades its record to 22-2 on the season. The Stateliners host West Morris Central (Chester, NJ) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 14-11. West Morris Central won 83-47 in their recent non-league bout against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ)

Next up, the Lions play the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. North Hunterdon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 54-36 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ).
