New York High School Basketball - Plattsburgh overwhelmed by Northeastern Clinton
February 14, 2024: Plattsburgh, NY 12901 The Plattsburgh Hornets basketball team (Plattsburgh, NY), was routed 66-37 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY)
The Cougars now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saranac for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle on Friday, February 16. Northeastern Clinton will battle a Spartans team coming off a 61-35 league win over Peru (Peru, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 16-2.
The Hornets (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Peru (Peru, NY). The Nighthawks come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Peru was routed by Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY), 53-41, in a league battle.
