New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Grande topped by Manzano
February 14, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87105 The Manzano Monarchs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Rio Grande Ravens to 31 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Monarchs now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Manzano will battle a Demons team coming off a 46-43 league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Demons record now stands at 13-6.
The Ravens (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Albuquerque prevailed over Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 54-52, in a league contest.
