Georgia High School Baseball - Benedictine prevails Statesboro
February 14, 2025: Statesboro, GA 30458 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) and the host Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA), saw Benedictine's baseball team gain a win over Statesboro by a tally of 9-0.
The Cadets (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Hebron Christian prevailed over Gainesville (Gainesville, GA), 10-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 17. Statesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA).
