February 14, 2025: Clinton, IA 52732 Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 67-57 in a league match.
With the victory, Assumption upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Knights host Muscatine (Muscatine, IA) to face the Muskies in a Mississippi match on Tuesday, February 18. The Muskies enter the match with a record of 16-3. Muscatine won 87-56 in their recent non-league match against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA)
The River Kings now sport a 0-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davenport North for a Mississippi match on Tuesday, February 18. Clinton will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 77-68 league loss to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-8.
