February 14, 2025: Lovejoy, IL 62059 Cairo Pilots (Cairo, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, IL), 50-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cairo upgrades its record to 11-14 on the year. The Pilots travel to Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 22-4. Murphysboro won 46-42 in their recent league match against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL)
The Wildcats now sport a 0-10 record.
