February 14, 2025: Morgan City, LA 70380 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) and the visiting Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA), observed Central Catholic's basketball team knock off Thibodaux by a score of 60-43.
The Eagles (27-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA). The Tigers come into the 1A District 7 challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, Jeanerette dropped by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 55-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a 5A District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Thibodaux will attempt to improve on its 13-17 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 21-12 record after their 54-47 league loss to Bourgeois (Gray, LA).
