Louisiana High School Basketball - Thibodaux thwarts East St. John
February 4, 2025: Reserve, LA 70084 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA) and the host East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), observed Thibodaux's basketball team knock off East St. John by a score of 57-43.
The Tigers (13-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers come into the 5A District 8 challenge with a 21-21 record. In their last challenge, Hahnville was knocked off by Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 61-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a 5A District 8 challenge, on Friday, February 7. East St. John will attempt to improve on its 20-22 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-29 record after their 73-63 league loss to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA).
