Louisiana High School Basketball - East St. John succumbs to Plaquemine
February 1, 2025: Plaquemine, LA 70764 In Saturday's non-league test, the Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA) basketball squad defeated the visiting East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), by a final score of 67-57.
Next, the Green Devils clash with the West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) in a 4A District 6 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Plaquemine will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 18-8 record after their 52-45 league win over Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA).
The Wildcats (18-19) will now prepare for their test against Independence (Independence, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 15-12 record. In their last test, Independence overcame Northlake Christian (Covington, LA), 48-39, in a league test.
