The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) and the host Perry Meridian Falcons (Indianapolis, IN), observed Franklin Community's basketball team overwhelm Perry Meridian by a margin of 52-30.

The Grizzly Cubs (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield (Plainfield, IN). The Quakers come into the Mid-State challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield trounced Greenwood (Greenwood, IN), 65-64, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) in a Mid-State challenge, on Friday, February 21. Perry Meridian will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 68-50 league loss to Whiteland (Whiteland, IN).
