New Mexico High School Basketball - Highland fells Grants
February 14, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87108 The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Grants Pirates to 60 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now possess a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Valencia for a 4A District 5 game on Tuesday, February 18. Highland will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 46-36 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-14.
With the loss, Grants falls to 12-13 on the campaign. The Pirates host Belen (Belen, NM) to confront the Eagles in a 4A District 5 game on Tuesday, February 18. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 10-13. Belen lost 58-34 in their recent league game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
