Michigan High School Basketball - Houghton Lake holds off Northern Michigan Christian
February 14, 2025: McBain, MI 49657 The Houghton Lake Bobcats basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Northern Michigan Christian Comets to 56 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Beal City for a Highland game on Tuesday, February 18. Houghton Lake will confront a Aggies team coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI). The Aggies record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Northern Michigan Christian falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Evart (Evart, MI) to confront the Wildcats in a Highland game on Tuesday, February 18. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 16-4. Evart lost 58-39 in their recent league game against Pine River Area (Leroy, MI)
