Michigan High School Basketball - Pine River Area nips Manton

In Friday's league challenge, the host Pine River Area Bucks basketball team scored a close 55-48 win over the Manton Rangers.

The Bucks (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against McBain (McBain, MI). The Ramblers come into the Highland challenge with a 18-2 record. In their last challenge, McBain edged Roscommon (Roscommon, MI), 76-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers encounter the Grayling Vikings (Grayling, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Manton will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Kingsley (Kingsley, MI).
