The Meridian Mustangs basketball squad (Daykin, NE), was crushed 49-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Silver Lake Mustangs (Roseland, NE)

With the victory, Silver Lake advances its record to 16-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Shelton (Shelton, NE) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, February 21. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 14-7. Shelton won 66-4 in their recent non-league battle against Harvard (Harvard, NE)
