Wyoming High School Basketball - Worland nips Powell
February 14, 2025: Worland, WY 82401 In Friday's league contest, the host Worland Warriors basketball team scored a close 78-75 triumph over the Powell Panthers.
The Warriors (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lovell (Lovell, WY). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Northwest contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Lovell nipped Pinedale (Pinedale, WY), 68-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Powell will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 63-57 league loss to Pinedale (Pinedale, WY).
