Michigan High School Basketball - Saugatuck overwhelms Black River
February 14, 2025: Holland, MI 49423 The Saugatuck Trailblazers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Black River Rats to 29 in the Trailblazers league triumph on Friday.
The Trailblazers now possess a 16-1 record. They play next when they host Kalamazoo Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Saugatuck will confront a Comets team coming off a 68-12 league win over Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI). The Comets record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Black River falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Rats travel to Fennville (Fennville, MI) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league game on Monday, February 17. The Blackhawks go into the game with a record of 6-10. Fennville lost 29-18 in their recent league game against Allegan (Allegan, MI)
