In Friday's league contest, the host Central Rockets basketball team scored a good 52-41 triumph over the Jacobs Golden Eagles.

The Rockets (11-19) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 12-16 record. In their last contest, Prairie Ridge was toppled by Cary-Grove (Cary, IL), 52-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles confront the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Jacobs will attempt to better on its 8-20 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 21-8 record after their 56-41 league win over Hononegah (Rockton, IL).
