The Johnsburg Central Jaguars basketball squad (North Creek, NY), was crushed 45-15 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY)

With the victory, Lake Placid advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Bombers host Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY) to meet the Griffins in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II battle on Saturday, February 15. The Griffins enter the battle with a record of 10-5. Boquet Valley won 29-17 in their recent league battle against Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY)
