In Friday's non-league contest, the host Summer Creek Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 51-34 triumph over the Pearland Oilers.

The Bulldogs (26-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 28-5 record. In their last contest, Cypress Falls topped Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX), 61-50, in a non-league contest.
