In Friday's league contest, the host York Dukes basketball team scored a good 47-33 triumph over the Seward Bluejays.

The Dukes (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE). The Grizzlies go into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Standing Bear was topped by Gretna (Gretna, NE), 44-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bluejays confront the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Seward will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record. The Discoverers go into the contest with a 11-11 record after their 29-26 non-league loss to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE).
