Virginia High School Basketball - Grafton knocks off York
February 14, 2025: Yorktown, VA 23692 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Grafton Clippers basketball team scored a good 62-44 win over the York Falcons.
The Clippers (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Jamestown was topped by Tabb (Yorktown, VA), 44-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. York will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Packers come into the contest with a 5-13 record after their 55-34 non-league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA).
